“Couldn't fault it!”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

Modern hotel, FREE car parking, great location. Left out of the hotel and first left at roundabout, plenty of places to eat and drink (old christchurch road). Or, just keep heading down on this road and you'll end up in town centre with gardens/beach just a short stroll from there. Just let reception know, and if you like (and they have space) they're quite happy for you to continue to use the car park even after you've checked out. We had a room on the 6th floor, facing back of the hotel, great views over bournemouth and so quiet, didn't hear the slightest bit of road traffic. Staff very friendly and efficient, room clean, spacious, minimalist/modern style but still good facilities i.e iron/space to hang clothes (no wardrobe) arm chair, desk and office chair, tv, kettle & tea coffee etc. Bathroom was very nice, tons of space for toiletries & plenty of towels, wet room style - great. We got a great rate of £20 room only through an offer in a newspaper, not sure of usual rates but for us - fantastic value for money. We come to bournemouth quite often and we'll definitely consider you before other places we have stayed. Thanks!

Room Tip: we had room 610....office block below/almost at level but can see across bournemouth and to the sea...

Thank you for your comments. I am glad you enjoyed the hotel, and I agree the £20 deal was certainly good value! Please keep checking back for future offers, and we hope to be of service to you in future.

We stayed here for two nights with friends. The free parking really sold it for us, along with the fact that it is a sleek, modern hotel which is refreshing for a seaside resort. The rooms were spacious and clean and the wet room shower was excellent. We had the breakfast on the second morning and it was really good value for money. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Bournemouth. Only one problem encountered during our stay - I was trapped in the lift door twice (snd I wasn't slow to exit!) the second time it trapped my hand and left a painful bruise.

Thank you very much for your positive comments. I am sorry you had a bad experience with the lift, I will contact the maintenance company as it should not do that. We hope to welcome you again in future.

Firstly the disabled bedrooms are brilliant. The bathrooms are a wet room. So it's perfect if you are elderly or disabled, makes life a helluva lot easier. Bar is nice. Staff are polite and welcoming. Free wifi and free parking. Brill.

This is our second stay at the Ramanda Encore, and it really is ideal when attending BIC etc, with free parking. Walking distance of town, beach and generally a good location. Breakfast is good, staff good, room clean and minimal, all in all a good place to stay. If I return in the future to Bournemouth I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel.

I stayed here for one night recently, in order to attend an event at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC). The good bits: The hotel is within comforatble walking distance of the BIC. There is plenty of free parking avaialble and the breakfasts are decent.

The not so good: The decor in the public areas is very "functional" rather than welcoming and homely. The rooms are very spartan - I felt the combination of wood-effect "lino" floors (no carpets here!), plus rock-hard beds, stainless-steel bathroom sink and all-in-one shower and loo were rather reminiscent of a boarding school! Interesting concept and probably not for me.

WE stayed here on Saturday night to attend a gig at the O2 Academy.

Hotel was easy to find and check-in was smooth and quick. The room was clean and spacious enough. The bathroom is a wet-room which I prefer with a walk-in shower which was hot with good pressure

What I did like was the reception/dining area which was open-plan and good for casual snacks and drinks late-on. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I particularly liked the 2 night porters who were Polish guys that made a great double-act but were also friendly and efficient. A great asset to the place.

Parking is really quite tight and for the size of the place seemed a little on the sparse side but maybe they have an area I did not see other than the two covered areas and the few spaces at the front.

Otherwise a good option and close to some local pubs and restaurants..

The room was clean and had good wireless and air-conditioning.

Booked this hotel for the night as we were in Bournemouth to see Jools Holland (brilliant by the way!) Its a great hotel, free parking, which is getting a lot harder to find these days, clean, modern rooms. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Great breakfast, including a lot of what you would get in a 4 star hotel, fruit, cheese, pastries, full english, cereals etc.

All in all a great hotel for short breaks, with fairly easy walk into the town, although elderly people would probably struggle with walking as it is quite hilly.
