Went to Ali's with work colleagues on their Monday banquet night, the food kept coming and no compromising on the quality. Great Food, great atmosphere, great service, great value. Love the tower of beer, it really adds to the occasion. This place is always first choice.

Saturday evening 8 o;clock with friends where else to be but dining at Ali's. A family run Indian restaurant where service is very attentive, friendly and always polite. We had a leisurely drink while we read the menu choosing from the fabulous array of Indian dishes on offer.

Opting for the light crunchy poppadoms and wonderful fragrant chutneys and sauces we chatted and savoured the taste of India.

Starters left us wondering what to have but with the expert guidance of Ali's son who was our waiter for the evening we were soon enjoying a selection of spiced warming bite sized meats served with various sauces and side salads.

Main course for me was a Lamb Dopiaza a firm favourite eaten slowly and with sides of rice and nann bread, my partner opted for a prawn Dopiaza with a wonderful pilau rice, our friends had several dishes once again suggested by Ali's sonm the table was covered in tempting bowls of heavenly fragrant Indian dishes.

After a leisurely evening eating the delights set before us we decided that dessert would be one course too far so opting for coffee we were joined by Ali for a catch up on how we were.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all and judging from the tables near to us we were not the only ones, indeed the restaurant was crowded with revellers, but hey it is Ali's ..........
