“Horrific”
Reviewed August 1, 2012 via mobile

They had a brilliant menu which made us go in. After waiting for 10 mins for a menu I thought we might have problems... After waiting a further 20 mins for our order to be taken we were willing to go somewhere else! 20 mins later we said we had to go to check out of the hotel, they said it was ready but it was not. They then took food from other peoples breakfast which they where about to serve and put the breakfast in a take away box, charged us full price and included mushrooms which I asked not to be included as I am allergic to them. It hen had to argue for my money back, as he was blaming me for the order mistake until he put the order on the counter and it clearly shown that it said no mushroom. All in all a horrible experience. Stay well clear.

“A Hidden Gem (and Veggie Heaven!)”
Reviewed July 13, 2011

For locals and non locals alike , it is the last building on the right before the St Michaels roundabout.
This is a cafe/bistro which is open during the day from 7.30am to approximately 6pm.
It serves all the traditional breakfasts you'd expect at a good price (daily special was £3.45).
It also does traditional lunch meals - again at a good price (£5-6ish).
The comprehensive menu does many varieties of sandwich, baguette and wrap.
where it is special is that it has a mediterranean theme, so wraps/sandwiches/baguettes which include halloumi cheese, falafel, houmous, salad and many combinations of these as well as lamb, other meats etc. Salads, greek with feta, chicken and other varieties.
It does sweets including cheesecakes and similar.
It is licenced so a beer of a glass of wine is always available.
We eat there several times and found the service and ambiance excellent.
We also noticed it has a very loyal and regular local following with many people lunching there daily.
The food quality and quantity are outstanding as is the presentation.
This is a cafe/bistro that is well worth a look as it does things very very well and is a lovely place to visit
We visited it when staying in Bournemouth from London - all i can say is I wish we had one locally to us!!!!
