Firstly, this restaurant isn't really in Bournemouth, it's in Southbourne. Granted there's only a few miles in it, but worth pointing out for those staying in Bournemouth who might want to take a trip to the Larder House. And well they should, because this place is great - a ray of light in an otherwise grey and drab Dorset seaside town. The place has a great contemporary feel with legs of Spanish jamon hanging from the ceiling and an in-house espresso bar. My partner and I went for lunch and had the new 'menu del dia' - two courses and wine for £15 (or 18-ish if you want pud). The food was lovely - classic but modern - and there was loads of it. It would be hard to find better value for money anywhere in Bournemouth.
