“Great Family Holiday Let”
Reviewed August 6, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

All of the reviews below are spot on! It's a great house with loads of space and, with 3 bathrooms, handily avoids the squabbles of who can use the shower next!

The garden is the icing on the cake and, if you land lucky with the weather, is a great private sunny spot to chill out in.

The only thing i would add is, if you are coming with babies who like a dark room to sleep, then make sure you bring one of those portable blackout blinds. The sun rises at the back of the house and sets at the front, so all rooms have the same issue. When its sunny, whilst it is great for enjoying the garden, the curtains / blinds just can't cope with it. A minor quibble though, and one that can be easily solved, although it maybe good for this to be flagged in the welcome email?

So, all in all, a great place to use as a family / groip base from which to explore the surrounding area! Good job!!

Thanks Richard for leaving such a positive review. I have now fitted blackout curtains at the back of the house. Hopefully this will resolve this problem.

“Excellent Value for Money. Very Comfortable Home”
Reviewed July 26, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Our extended family visited Bonham on a week's holiday in mid July 2016.

We had 8 adults stay and 3 children under two years (9 months, 18 months and 33 months).

The house is very spacious and comfortably fit us all without being in each other's way.

The kitchen was very well equipped and was so clean it almost seemed unused. My only criticism here was that there were no small frying pans, so cooking an omelette or pancake would be problematic. The two fridges were very roomy and making ice from the freezer was very easy. The barbecue outside was very easy to use.

There is no dining area as such. The kitchen has this magnificent central island which we could fit all the grown ups around, but this was a little precarious for our 33 month old who did not like being so high up (there were two high chairs for the younger pair). For the vast majority of time, this was inconsequential as there was ample dining space outside which is where we spent most of our time.

The Garden was well equipped and maintained with plenty to do. The garden felt very private. We brought along a paddling pool which was perfect for the hot weather. My son was particularly excited by the large toy car. You get the sunshine in the mornings and in the evenings the sun sets behind the house.

The bedrooms were all large and comfortable. The only problem with the rooms were that the curtains seemed to exist only to protect one's dignity. They did little to nothing to block out the light from outside. One room (to the left of the main bathroom upstairs) had a good blackout blind and if you have young children, I recommend you put them in there to sleep. The house is around the corner of a busy main road and you do get the noise of a lot of traffic when you open the windows. There were plenty of power sockets everywhere and WiFi extenders meant you could get signal throughout the house.

The house is next to a busy high street with plenty of local amenities. The waitrose and lidl within 5 minutes walk were more than enough to suit our needs for the week. The owners gave us some excellent advice as to where to find parking for the best beaches which were no more than 10 minutes drive away. In fact the A338 was only 5 minutes drive away so all the main attractions were very accessible.

There was room for two family cars for off street parking, however parking restrictions forced us to park our other vehicles further away, no more than 100m or so in the worst case scenario.

The owners were always available if we had any problems and very friendly.

Thank you Stefan for taking the time to do an in depth review. Your suggestions regarding a small frying pan and heavier curtains are very helpful and I plan to address these shortly. So pleased that your family enjoyed holidaying at Bonham

“Fantastic holiday home”
Reviewed July 24, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We had such a good time, all the family enjoyed themselves .There was everything we needed at the house and the secluded garden was loved by the children and adults.
Eating out in the garden after a day out was fantastic.

“Wonderful accommodation in a great location”
Reviewed August 10, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Judy and Jim were great on arrival showing us all the properties facilities and a handy folder full of things to do and places to go. (They had even provided milk, tea and coffee with some delighful snacks.)

After a long drive from Leeds we were ready to get unpacked and relax, Bonham certainly allowed us to do that.

The property was clean and is extremely spacious which was definitely required with 9 adults and 5 children!

The property was well equipped with all the kitchen utensils you could need, dishwasher, dryer & washing machine. The Garden was great for the kids with plenty of toys for them to play with and fully enclosed so they couldn't escape!

Bonham is well located near Winton high street and has a Waitrose right on the doorstep. The high street was no more than a few minutes walk with Card Factory, Banks and other great stores. Bonham was also in a great location for other local attractions such as Bournemouth, Boscombe & Poole all no more than 20mins away.

We really enjoyed our time in Bournemouth and Bonham added to the experience as the entire family could stay together in one place rather than booking multiple rooms/caravans etc.

We would definitely stay in Bonham again!

“A beautifully spacious and superbly equipped property made a fantastic holiday”
Reviewed September 7, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

This was our second holiday to Bonham and we weren't disappointed, the house has everything needed to enjoy and have a relaxing time. Having four daughters the close proximity of the shops and cafés was ideal.
Judy and Jims welcome was warm and friendly and their property cannot be recommended highly enough, if you are going to stay anywhere on the south coast it should be Bonham.

“Brilliant holiday house”
Reviewed September 3, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We loved this house, big and spacious, very clean, modern, comfy (especially the beds) and welcoming. Well equipped throughout the house and garden and even for the beach. The location is good for exploring by car to Bournemouth sea front, Sandbanks, Alum Chine, chain ferry to Studland Bay or even further a field. We were there for the Air Show which was very very busy but brilliant.
