We have found ourselves a gem on the south coast, we have been 3 times to this hotel this year and we are booked in twice with them for next year. It is located in Bournemouth in a very ideal spot, a short walk to the beach also not far away it is serviced well by the local bus routes. The staff are very helpful and polite, we found the cleanliness of the hotel very good. The rooms are of a good size with most of your needs available, very pleasant. There are leisure facilities that we rate very highly. And the food is very good, the breakfasts are buffet style, plentyful and hot, and the evening meals are top quality set in a delightful dining room. We will be back.

Staff friendly. Bedrooms need a change of top cover, grubby - but sheets all clean. Ttoy dog left on bed to tempt guest to purchase. Dog extremely grubby, yuck, but was replaced religiously on the bad every day. Spa disgusting. floor covered in dust and was wet. Tiles around surface of pool where it met the waterline were black with grease in places. The spa was very murky at the end of the day. It is definitley a health hazard and water droplets from the bubbles could contain goodness knows what. These spa pools take more upkeep than just bunging in some granules, they need pipes cleaning, filters changing, etc etc on a regular basis. Considering the floor isn't even kept clean, then cleaning the spa is unlikely to happen.

Flat roof outside bedrooms covered in debris, most unattractive.

It is such a shame as the hotel needs comparatively so little to improve it and make it wonderful. Maybe it will happen????

We had three nights here Thursday-Sunday. Staff were friendly courteous and efficient and helpfull, said we could ask if we wanted any recomendations where to go ect, and gave us a mini map of the area.Room was nice decor although the beige velour throw on the bed was grubby, i dont think they launder these? There was a couple of marks on top which looked suspiciously like blood, so i used one of the white towels dampened to rub it off and the towel was black where i had done so! However the bedding- sheets and pillows were spotless and the bed comfortable. No lock on bathroom door- a hole in the door where it had once been and no extractor fan in the bathroom meant lots of steam when in shower (overbath shower)only released when door opened. Shower pressure not great and temperature fluctuated.Didnt eat here found nice eateries close by. Go left and the hotel then right towards town there a cafe called olive? all day breakfast is £2.95 . In the evening go left to the end of the road left past premier inn and right at the lights- 5 mins on foot theres a friendly italian family run woodfired pizza and pasta place in Bournemouth da marios on queens road,a reallly fantastic find. Also ate at Himalay next door really good curry. Will visit both again. The one thing I would stay out in the hotel is the 'spa area' pools saunas changing rooms ect absolutely disgusting, filthy, smelly, wet and soggy you leave feeling grubby.I didnt shower in there it was so gross I went back to my room to shower. Seriously it has got to be a complete health hazard, from underfoot to inhaling the air down there- just dont! cant believe non hotel guests payprivate membership to join. And it could be soooo nice with a refit and a clean. I would stay again because of the hotel, pleasent staff and its location easy walk into the town centrebut I wouldnt book it for a spa break and will definatelt be leaving my swim wear at home.

fantastic day! Steve and all his staff were exceptional. nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was first class and well presented. The ceremony room and the reception rooms were just right and any adjustments we requested were carried out straight away.
Thank you all so much for making our daughter and her husbands special day perfect.

Our pamper day was lovely, great friendly staff throughout hotel, clean and welcoming, despite the decorators being in. Lunch was fantastic ! Great value for money. We will be going again.
