NEVER have we stayed anywhere so awful. This place needs pulling down.We booked a superior room for 1night with breakfast on 10th August.
Thank goodness the bed was comfortable & the sheets were clean apart from that .....
As soon as we got into reception I could see what we had to come.... dirty sofas, torn leather couches & looked as though it hadn't been decorated for 20+ years. We had to pay upfront as opposed to when we checked out which came as a surprise.
Our room was number 314 & although large I walked in took my shoes off & as I walked to the window (which was completely filthy inside & out) my feet were sticking to the carpet. The dark pine furniture was chipped & battered about ( We have seen better in charity shops).
The bath had a 3" hole in the side panel & all the seal which was badly done was covered in mildew. Some shower gel & towels were there although could have done with shower hat & soap.
I dread to think what the cheaper rooms were like.
I must admit the breakfast did make up for the night somewhat .It was buffet style with tea, coffee, juices, cereals, yoghurts & the usual fry up contents which was replenished frequently.
Will give this 1Star for the breakfast

We paid a lot of money to stay here it was meant to be a luxury weekend away, but it was far from it!!! The room was meant to a luxury double bedroom with a spa bath, very dated, furniture badly marked, spa bath did not work, cleaners empty bins and left it on a shelf in the bathroom, toilet seat was broken, 1 of the towels we used was folded up and left on top of clean towels which they did replace. Fruit shoot bottle was found behind bedside table, clearly this wasn't cleaned prior to use using the room. looked like bedroom hadn't been used for a number days as there was a build up of dust. When this was reported to Duty Manager could only offer us a refund of 10%. Breakfast was of a buffet style but was very poor quality and some of the hot items were cold. Car parking some what amazing, you enter through a barrier and park in a spiral system though spacing is very tight not made easy by other people parking over the lines, then once that is full you park behind each other in a spiral system going back down to the barrier. If carpark is full you have to leave your car go down to reception and get a pass and at the same time ask where you can park your car. Car parking charges are £3 per day you stay there regardless if you use the car park or not.

Room Tip: chose a different hotel!!

Value for money hotel built as it says round.
Dont get drunk and then un-pack the car as i did.........its round and on different levels and you get disorientated by this and will never find it!

The bar is good value but the staff a bit slow, the food is cheaper than the surrounding area and the beer also, the lounge is relaxing and entertainment is on weekends.

Breakfast is buffet style and help yourself and is also a good standard.

The rooms are a little tiered and dated but comfy, it still has steel window frames!!!

Not enough car parking space so be ready to pay.

Over looks the town center and can get noisy down below but never bothered me, i have stayed here with friends many many times and would stay again.

I travel for business and personal hobby / passtime ( www.facebook/southcoastghosts ) and id say good value for money and well located.

Went to the Roundhouse in Bournmouth for one night as my partner and i were off to a wedding reception in a different hotel. All i can say about it is, the hotel is very very dated, heavy dark stain on the carpet in the bedroom, the bath didn,t look to special either. On the plus side, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was nice, really freindly staff, in reception and at breakfast. I wouldn,t say for anyone to stay there more than i night, it needs a big makeover.

Room Tip: we had room 323, fairly quiet

Stayed for one night in August for a break away! It does the job it's in a perfect location for the city centre for shopping and night life! The rooms are ok very basic but they have a bed and a shower that's all that's needed really! Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that, went in the bar though which was very spacious and reasonable prices for a drink! Plenty of car parking spaces and very secure parking reasonable price as well at £3 for the night, we arrived at 11am and check in isn't until 3pm but they allowed us to park in the car park from 11am which i thought was very good!
