Obviously at this time of year you do not expect much of a garden but i was quite upset when walking through at lunchtime to see in 2 different places rats scurrying across the paths I am not keen on rats & would worry if i went to Bournemouth to visit these gardens

friendly fat squirrels in the park that will eat from your hand, very clean areas to sit and watch the world go by

The gardens are extremely well kept, tidy and adjacent to the sea front, there is an aviary
and a hot air balloon, also right near the
buses and town centre.

The gardens are lovely whatever time of year you go, in Spring the flowers are lovely and in Autumn the colours are fabulous. We often park at Coy Pond and walk to Bournemouth, the walk is absolutely lovely and parking is free!!

A beautifully kept area for wildlife and people to relax. We visited in the winter, but it was still lovely. I did note that there were some overweight squirrels hanging around, and they were regularly being fed by passers by, so I don't think they go hungry in the winter!
