My friend & I booked a twin room for my sons wedding from 26th August to 2nd September 2011. Our first impression when we walked through the front door was "OMG we want to go home!!!" The decor was like something out of a 1950's film!!! We went to our room which was like a floral explosion. But we had paid our money so we had no choice but to stay. We were so glad we did, the beds were so comfy, the staff ( all foreign students it seemed & all French) just couldnt do enough for you even though we only saw them at breakfast, which by the way was more than passable, full English consisted of bacon, sausage, hash brown, mushrooms, tomato & choice of fried or scrambled egg, with toast to follow, Cereal or Coninental was available too. We were told by the owner that they only aquired the hotel last year previously it had been in the same family for some 40 years (and obviously not decorated in that time!!!) If the decor was improved we would deffinately go again..... Thank you for the service we received. Linda & Liz from Bradford
