Stayed here for 2 nights in a small double which was absolutely fine. Nice touches with the water bottles and cookie jar. The shower was amazing. Lovely hotel, would definitely recommend it and hope to stay again. The breakfasts on both mornings were lovely, very good ingredients. Only small negative was that the room could of been cleaner as there were a few cobwebs!

What can I say, we saw the pictures on the website and read the fantastic reviews, and thought we were onto a good thing. Here’s what we thought…

= DINNER =

Pros
• Tastey food
• Lovely restaurant decor

Cons
• Poorly organised
• Not much veggie choices
• Waited over an hour and a half for food
• Inattentive and unenthusiastic waiting staff
• No atmosphere
• Not worth £65

= BEDROOM =

Pros
• Beautifully furnished
• Lovely view over the front (stayed in Red Oak)

Cons
• Rough towels (organic apparently)
• Hot room as it’s on the top floor, no air con
• Lack of surfaces in bathroom & shower
• Thin walls (could hear next door talking etc…)
• Wasn’t told about lift to our room until the last day
• Rude cleaning staff
• Lack or mirrors with good light

= BREAKFAST=

Pros
• Lovely restaurant decor

Cons
• Asked for a latte with my breakfast, got told “have you seen how busy it is in here”
• Long wait for hot food
• Noisey
• Inattentive and unenthusiastic waiting staff
• Asked for hollandaise sauce with my breakfast, got told “have you seen how busy it is in here”

Got offered a free upgrade for next time we stay, but unfortunately we won’t be coming back :(

We’re rating this hotel as POOR

My daughter and son-in-law held their wedding here at the end of March. Several rooms were booked for family and friends. The day was perfect, everybody enjoyed their stay, highly recommend having your wedding here.

We were in the area for a wedding (not at this hotel) and had a lovely stay. The room was comfortable and bright. The staff was extremely helpful. As Americans we had only the vaguest idea of what to do in Bournemouth and vicinity and the staff patiently gave us recommendations that proved very helpful. Breakfast was great and the bar very nice. Only caveat is that the walls are paper thin - you'll know what your neighbors are up to.

A nice boutique hotel around ten minutes walk to the sea and pier. The rooms are all individually styled and if you are looking to splash out a bit you have some great suites. The food is excellent, very 'Chefy' although the dining room perhaps doesnt quite match the decor elswhere in the hotel. Bar is nice and modern and range of drinks superb. Look out for offers!

Anybody thinking of getting married in a hotel, The Green House is the perfect venue, after having my son's wedding this weekend at the hotel it is a beautiful venue, could not fault the staff, they we're very attentive and could not do enough for us so a big thank you to all the staff, food was absolutely superb, would also like to say a big big thank you to Sarah their wedding planner, she did an outstanding job and the day was PERFECT !!!! Would definitely recommend The Green House for a wedding venue or a lovely place to stay generally. Thank you once again for a fantastic stay, will definitely visit The Green House again.

My partner and I were married at the Green House hotel this past weekend, we could not recommend this hotel highly enough!
All of our guests commented on how helpful, polite and attentative the staff were, especially Olivia, Aga and, of course, the wedding organiser Sarah! Without this woman our day would not have come together in the way we had hoped!
The food which we had on our 3 night stay, was exceptional to say the least, I for one am a very picky eater and each plate I've had there has left the table completely empty, this again was noted by all our guests at the wedding!
The rooms are amazing, from the small doubles right through to the master doubles, every room is impeccable and can find no fault whatsoever.
We will definitely be back to stay at this hotel in the near future, as will majority of our guests who will be coming back for their own anniversaries and special events, and as said would recommend anyone to try this hotel just once and you'll want to go back again and again.
Thank you so much
