We decided to go away at the last minute for one night.
The Green House was an excellent choice, the staff were lovely and could not do more for us
We ate in the busy restaurant and the food and service was excellent. My husband had scallops to start and said it was the best starter he had ever had!
It is a two minute walk to the beach and in a great location

Recently refurbished with good 'green' credentials. Upgraded without asking, the hotel was a very comfortable base for a shopping and cinema one might stay. Modern Farrow & Ball decor. Excellent cooked breakfast. Friendly staff - mostly from East of Bournemouth!

Clean, fresh, very stylish. Nice change from the chain I usually use happily. Highly recommended. I don't often give a 5/5 so that's a real compliment. Really nice design, colours, music in the bar, carpets etc. Nice touch in the names of the rooms, woods (Birch, Oak etc) rather than 101 etc. Thoughtful.

Reasonable walking distance to the BIC and seafront. Easy to find with SatNav.

Good front desk staff, fast checkin all well organised. Room was clean and very nice. tea, coffee, water, biscuits all complementary. WiFi provided without asking and worked well. Previous emails around the booking had been very well handled.

Returning to the hotel after a concert at the BIC we were recommended an English Wine and it was excellent. The bar staff were polite and attentive. Hot food not available after certain hours which is a tiny crimp. It would be nice to have something.

Very comfortable bed. Clean bathroom, big shower. I still don't understand the current fashion of having a roll top bath in the window of the bedroom ? It had one so apparently it is cool ? TV had satellite and good picture.

Breakfast was excellent, local produce. Sausage that tasted like real sausage. Perfectly cooked eggs. Coffee was good quality. Service was a little below the rest of the team but polite.

Not the cheapest but I have to say we really enjoyed our stay. Would happily stay there again.

The hotel was lovely and the staff and food were fantastic. All of the staff were very friendly and really went the extra mile to help (e.g when i had forgottern my conditioner!). Breakfast was a good mixed spread and good quality.
Me and my boyfriend left the hotel feeling relaxed and it really helped destress us both.

Stayed mid week for a dinenr and b&b dela whch was well worth it. If the teaster menu is offered then GO FOR IT! We were lucky enough to be upgraded but I'm sure any room would make this hotel the perfect getaway treat.

We stayed for one night at The Green House, paying £205 for a 'large double room' plus dinner for 2. Our room (Bay) was large, stylish and immaculate and the dinner was excellent - the scallops in particular were superb. It was good to see the environmental ethos in the hotel's fittings etc - I would be interested to know how the hotel performs in such aspects as energy use compared with standard hotels of its type.

Almost no criticisms - the hotel is tucked away, so no sea views, but it is close to the cinemas and shops. The bath in the room was lovely, but to be honest we would have preferred a sofa, particularly as our double room had only one chair (why do hotels do this?). We very were impressed with the attitude of the staff. Luxury hotels can be impersonal, but the receptionist and head waiter seemed to take an interest in us and gave their time freely.

We have just spent a couple of nights in The Green House, loved the contemporary style and colours (took some ideas home!), everywhere was spotless, everything you need in the rooms, lovely facilities. Breakfast was well cooked with good quality products. Everything has been well thought out and beautifully presented with little touches, biscuits (freshly cooked I think), jugs of mik in a fridge in the corridor, still and sparkling water in lovely bottles provided. I feel very rested and delighted we chose to stay at The Green House.
