Stayed for one night after visiting family in the area, staff friendly and helpful, ample parking, large room, nice and clean as was the whole hotel, the room could have been warmer, paid extra for breakfast which was a dissapointment as it came out on cold plates and the food was cold, this seemed ridiculous as we had to wait while they cooked it so how they managed to let it get cold I don't know. This let the hotel down.

Room Tip: We had a large double room and this was plenty big enough.

Nicely placed hotel that when we arrived I realised I had stayed here years before!! No comparison as it was absolutely awful before.
Staff very friendly and room big and clean. Most important to me was that the bed was really comfortable. Bar area nice with more than affordable prices.
I would definitely stay here again mainly due to the homely feel. We were aware that the hotel was quite busy but we were not disturbed by noise at all.
Only issue (if I was to be really picky) was that though the place was clean it was from the head down. Cobwebs everywhere on the ceilings, I do feel a bit mean saying that though.
All in all the price for staying here was absolutely right for what we got.
Stayed in room 44 which was a bigger room than some.

the bed was nicely made when we walked in to the room and the sheets were very clean, the tv was big and we had a decent amount of tea and coffee, a few bad things- we stayed in room 25 and there were dirty stains on the wall just left as you walk in and by the window side, behind the bedside table, the bathroom was quite small and the shower leaked but it was very powerful which was good, i would prob stay here again if we paid the same sort of price which was £45.

I stayed in this hotel on sat 27th for one night. We had a good deal for a double room at £55 (no breakfast).
Upon arriving at approx 5pm there were no car parking spaces, although for a small hotel they do have a large car park (arrive early).
The room hotel was well kept and room was contemporary and very clean. Bathroom was also clean and had a great shower!
Bed could do with replacing (was ok) but sadly we were kept up all night with loud noises from wall behind head board, we were on the end of block so maybe water pipes??
Heating was good in room and controllable on radiator.
Only lock on door was standard single lock, I'd like to see more security for peace of mind as you sleep, especially with noises waking me up intermittently.
Lager and wine bought from bar was flat/poor, needs to be improved.
Overall nice 3 star and with small improvements could be a great little hotel for a weekend break

Got a cheap night here for £71 in a double room with breakfast. I have to say that the hotel and room were very clean and the staff seemed friendly and polite .
Our room was well equipped but we did notice that there were a couple of light bulbs out and the blind at the window was broken. We mentioned this as we left to go out at night and was impressed to find that when we returned a few hours later we had a new blind at the window and the lights replaced.
It was such a shame that our nights sleep was then ruined by the constant noise coming from a water pump and that the double glazing on one of the windows failed to seal properly meaning we had to endure constant road noise also.
Having had a very restless night we went down to breakfast which was ok , food reasonable although the mushrooms were cold and the sausage could have been of better quality.
Again everything on show was clean and so overall it has the makings of being a great little hotel it just needs a bit more attention paid to the finer details. We stayed in room 28.

A most enjoyable seven days spent at the Hotel once again. Hotel was excellent, staff were superb, helpful and really friendly. Rooms were well kitted out with excellent wifi signals, 32" flat Screen tv, numerous amount of sockets for charging electronics, best of all not forgetting a good night comfortable sleep. Food was great, nicely cooked and plenty of variety. Hotel situated no more than 10 minutes walk from shops, bars, restaraunts and a lovely clean beach to watch the sunrise. Left with a sime and definitely will come back with familey & friends.

We booked this last minute to save driving home after a concert. We arrived hours before check in to go shopping and they were fine about us leaving the car there. Only 15/20 minutes walk into town via the coast path.

The room located at the back of the hotel, was compact but fine for our needs, the bathroom was down a couple of steep steps but very nice and modern with a good shower. Overall the room was clean enough but as is so often the case in hotels its the little things like window frames which are neglected and on opening the window my fingers became a ittle grubby, on closer inspection all it needed was a wipe round the frame. The bed was ok but the pillows were incredibly flat and not comfortable. We did find some more in the wardrobe but no pillow cases. We did sleep ok though.

We couldn't get the wifi in our room but it worked fine down in the bar. It was a busy night with a lot of guests but we found the bar very pleasant when we returned for a nightcap. Talking to the owner its clear to see he has real pride in his hotel and the renovations he has done have been well thought out.

All in all a short but pleasant stay.

Room Tip: The back of the hotel is going to be quieter than the front which is near a busy junction.
