“Clean and Bright, Excellent Value”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

Our family of four stayed for 1 night before a ferry crossing to Jersey from Poole. Easy to find off of the A35 and plenty of room in the car park. Warm welcome from the staff who couldn't do anymore to help. Clean and bright room with the kids beds already made up. Really good room facilities with LCD TV, hair drier, coffee and tea and air con. Short walk into the centre of town took just 10 minutes. Nice hotel bar with attentive staff. Excellent breakfast where two children eat free with a paying adult ( £8.25 ) great choice of hot food and lots of cereals and fruit also. We paid £29 for our family room so value doesn't get any better. An excellent hotel.

We booked this hotel for a family activity break as there are lots of things to do nearby. We got an excellent deal for our 3 night stay during October half term. We did check trip advisor before we booked and were a little concerned about the parking, however we stayed from Wednesday to Saturday and used the car throughout our stay and managed to get a parking space each time. Yes the car park is small for the number of room but the receptionist gave us a detailed map of alternative free parking within walking distance of the hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful member of staff. Our room was clean, comfortable warm and spacious for a family of three. I requested another pillow which was sent up to the room straight away. Our room was on the first floor at the front of the hotel and we weren't affected by any noise from the road. All of the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. We had breakfast in the hotel twice which was great, lots of choice and a buffet style was perfect for our fussy daughter (kids eat free too!!). The hotel is located a 5 to 10 minute walk to the town centre and a further few minutes to the pier and beach.

I will start with a word of warning avoid room 116, it is next to the laundry room and the machines are noisey they can start anytime between 7am and 9pm. Why they gave it to a family I have no idea. Complained at reception and was moved with no fuss but the receptionist had said they have had to move customers before. As the Hotel was not full why use it!!!
Other than that this it is a normal premier inn, identi kit rooms comfortable and nce staff Small car park in hotel normally packed thpugh if you get a space you can use the good bus services to get around,

Room Tip: Avioid 116 use 139 is at the end of a corrider and quite

The staff and facilities where great, the big problem was getting a car parking space in the evening, i ended up having to park in a yard area and was in turn boxed in by other guests trying to park. I glad i wasn't leaving early the next day.

Another excellent Premier Inn. Staff extremely helpful, superb breakfasts and spotlessly clean room with lovely comfy bed and pillows.Only criticism cooling fan rather noisy.
Short walk to centre. Not as convenient as location Central Premier Inn forcloseness but really not far away at all and being a little away meant it was quiet.
Excellent Thai Restaurant 'Koh' nearby.

As expected for a Premier Inn. Good room, nice food (tried the breakfast) but the important point is well located for the BIC and the Pavilion for events, also good location for a walk into the town. There is a bit of a hill.
