Premier Inn Bournemouth Westcliff Hotel
Ranked #19 of 66 Hotels in Bournemouth
Reviewed January 15, 2012

We've just returned from a Christmas/New Year break at this hotel and again everything was excellent. The hotel is located at the top end of the town (about 10 minutes walk from Marks and Spencers, etc). We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and can honestly say that we wouldn't stay anywhere else while in Bournemouth. We are returning at least another 3 times later this year.

The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a great favourite with many people because of the car parking facilities. However, parking is limited.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and welcoming. Duvets and pillows are great. The power showers are wonderful. Tea, coffee, towels are replaced daily.

We didn't eat in the hotel on this occasion but have done in the past and everything was fine. The restaurant is quite small though so it can get busy at peak times. There is a guide at reception telling people the quiet/busy times so you can avoid having to wait for a table.

The hotel is busy most of the time but especially so at the weekend with younger people, many on hen and stag parties, etc. It can be noisy at times and especially so on a Saturday night. This is the only drawback but it is relatively minor. Staff are on hand to keep things in order. I can honestly say that I have never experienced any problems.

This is an excellent value for money hotel, exactly what you expect from the Premier Inn. I can thoroughly recommend for a great place to visit. Like me if you go once, you will definitely return.

Restaurants, shops, the beach and gardens are closeby. There is an excellent bus service. The Castlepoint Shopping Centre is around 15-20 minutes away by busy. Poole is also around 15-20 minutes away by bus.

The staff were excellent in every way and the hotel was quiet, comfortable and very clean. Free parking on site. They were lovely with my 2 year old.
Great value for money. Very simple to use their website too.
I will definitely stay here again.

The reception staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely, clean and comfortable room as I have come to expect from this chain. The room was very cold because the heating wasn't working but the staff were very helpful and gave me a mobile heater which worked very effectively.

Room Tip: Stay at the back where it is very quiet.

We only stayed there for 10 hours, arriving late and leaving early after breakfast, but the staff were very friendly and helpful, explained things well and seemed to care at the same time.
Because we arrived late we had to park around the back, but still had spaces.
Breakfast was excellent, again very helpful member of staff showed us everything and checked throughout our breakfast we were happy. Good location too.
Rooms had AirCon, and very clean with modern furniture.

Very presentable hotel, easy to find, good location and proximity to town centre - walking distance no problem. Pleased to find car parking on site. Able to arrange adjoining connected rooms so we had some space and privacy. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast was also great value and excellent quality - loved the coffee!
Really wish there had been a more comfortable chair to read or watch TV - and heard some noise through the walls - but overall very good experience and will definitely consider again.

This was the second time my family and I had stayed at this Premier Inn and the total experience was once again extremely satisfying.
The rooms were very clean and well maintained, the breakfast was really tasty and great value for money.
Thed hotel is ideally located close to town within walking distance.
The only downside was the hotel dos have limited parking although free on road parking is close by.
Overall once again a lovely experience.
