Very good staff. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Good location for shops, beaches and restaurants. All within 10 minute walk or less. We stopped for 2 nights. The room was very clean and tidy, with an excellent bathroom(good shower). Parking was adequate, and if car park was full, you could use the car park at the sister hotel across the road. The first night the hotel was quiet and we had a good nights sleep. The second night was so different. This is when we found out how thin the walls were in the rooms. People were only talking in the next room, but at 2-3am this did not help having a good nights sleep. Such a pity.

Stayed here for 2 nights mid-week last week, and i must say it's a great position for the town, Beach & as a central location to travel, what with Poole being 10mins down the road. The town centre of Bournemouth is within a 10min stroll, as too is the pier and beach. We were met by a lovely friendly girl on our arrival, and was told that breakfast would be at 0830... not before the students.... WHAT ???/ Students?.... yes Students, there we'rea lot of foriegn exchange students around, and a handful stayed in the dorm on the second floor. However, after my fear was eased with "We have never had any complaints from guests" was a little aprehensive, and we went outfor a lovely Italian meal and a couple of drinks. On our return, we headed for our room, and settled down for the night. It was quiet comfortable, 2single beds pushed together and a small annex type room with the loo, basin and a shower. The room was immaculate and clean, but a little on the small side. However, enough space to put suitcases and such around the room, with a big double fitted wardrobe, and the view from our room looked over the front of the hotel. 1st night bliss, great nights sleep, and a wonderful shower in the morning. Breakfast was fab full english, non greasy, Cerals & toast with jams, marmalade etc etc by the plentyful. 2nd Night i had broken nights sleep, with noisy guests,( a coach turned up with students, and we heard them chatting outside for what seemed ages, and the coach parked down the side of our hotel, which i guess was just unlucky) but worse of all, our neighbours.... 4am they came in and the whole hotel shook when they slammed the door, and we could hear verything they were saying and errrrrmmmm doing !!!! PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF OTHER GUESTS!!!. All in all i have voted this hotel Very Good, it central for all Bournemouth including the Pavillion, International CentrePier Theatre and town, and although we had a few disturbances Hotel room 12a was spotless, and comfortable, the road outside is a cul-de-sac i think, and little traffic uses it, although lots and lots of hotels around, so coaches could be a problem. Breakfasts was fab, and all in all enjoyable. It has wonderful staff and a great location with fad restaurants around the area... i probably would stay again.

The same two ladies seemed to do everything but they were very friendly and helpful with directions, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was one of the best we have found in a hotel, hot and fairly powerful. It would have been good to have had more choice at breakfast. There was only cereal, no fruit, yoghurt etc. and the main choice was vey limited . The scrambled was very dry and tasteless, Felt the décor needed sprucing up n places.

Room Tip: downstairs room had no view

Nothing very special. Friendly lady checked us in but she was not too sure of her local surroundings when we asked for directions. Great location. Toilet clean but very small, shower worked but not much pressure...dribbled!!. Noisy neighbours.. just unlucky I guess.

The staff at this hotel could not have been more friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for us - breakfast was delicious and more than we could eat! I would definitely recommend this hotel; also quite close to beach and town.

Checked in by a very nice lady. Was offered a password to use WIFI. Excellent connection. Everything that jess3794 said in her/his review applied to us. The girls at breakfast are just wonderful, nothing was a problem. The same to be said for the young ladies on reception. Bournemouth is quite hilly for those who haven't been before. Not everywhere of course. If you want a day out i would recommend a trip to Poole which was great. We took the car and it took 10-15 minutes. Went on a Sunday and we stayed 5 hours, and we only left as i think the car park closed at 5. (not sure). Because it was a Sunday there is only one charge of £1.50. There are plenty of pubs and shops, Poole pottery shop and boat trips from the marina. Poole is nice and flat.
