“Stunning & simple”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

Just don't ever go to the packed, smelly, overcrowded sands of Bournemouth, just not worth it if you would like a good day on the beach when Hengistbury Head is just down the coast a few miles, parking is more reasonable and the space generally is more natural...

Like entering another world. Such a beautiful place and the magic of the beach huts. An artists dream!!! Quite a walk but a beautiful one. You can always get a land train if you cant face walking

“Fantastic Visit”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Large parking area with reasonable prices. Cafe with everything you'd need, plus lovely outside seating. We did the loop walk that takes you up to the highest point then around by the beach huts, then back along a road through some atmospheric forest. It was a really good walk and such a scenic area. There was a quiet relaxing beach area by the huts. It looks like a new Visitor centre is being built too - I will definitely be going back to see that when it's finished. All in all, a fantastic area which is very family-friendly and has great views.
