“Quite rugged in a comfortable way overlooking the sea”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2012

A great place to walk for a change from the seafront & gardens. Has a ruggedness about it and great views overlooking the sea and seafront walkers. You walk up a hill on part of it which is not too much but still feels a good sense of achievement. Very popular with holiday makers and locals alike. Parking there is expensive so good if you can find a space down one of the side roads in Boscombe. Its such a shame that the council has to pick on the beautiful tourist places to put metres, not very helpful for the elderly either. Anyway its well worth a visit.

“lovely”

This is a lovely place with good facilities. However, if you are walking on the cliff tops, do take care to keep dogs and children well away from the edges.

“Lovely views from Hengistbury head”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2012

Hengistbury Head is a great place to visit, there are walks down to the sea with wonderful views across to mudeford harbour, or you can catch the land train. If you park along the road before you get to the main car park parking in the winter is free for 2 hours which is good!

“walk on the wild side”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2012

Windy walks, panoramic views, nature at its best! Also much history here, right back to stone age. Perfect for dogs (keep them away from cliffs) and children to run free.
