Arrived Tuesday evening, reception very polite and helpfull. Attractive reception and bar area ,spotlessly clean. Rooms warm and enviting, the best premier inn we have stayed at, and would definitely recommend it.on returning from the cinema we had a drink in the bar the bartender made us very welcome,,and on going to our room the night porter told us a little of the history of this lovely hotel.Breakfast was good and staff very attentive.Well done Premier Inns

Had heard alot of good things about this hotel and really wanted to stay there, they didn't disappoint. Room was huge and nicely decorated and the view was unbelievable. Only problem we encountered was the wifi but the staff worked really hard to get it sorted which it eventually was, will definetely return.

I've stayed in dozens of Premier Inn hotels and they are my favourite budget chain because they usually focus their expertise on the accommodation and let a specialist do the catering. This hotel, which has so much going for it in many ways is let down by really hard beds (absolutely not the usual Premier Inn type), and poor catering.

The staff are friendly, the location is fabulous and the rooms are great-except for the bed, and whichever way you look at it that's a key failing in a hotel.

The Premier Inn own-brand 'Thyme' restaurants are often not great and this one is no exception. Where it is an exception, is that they refuse to serve the usual continental breakfast found elsewhere in the Premier Inn chain- your choice is limited to a takeaway croissant & coffee, or full English. You can have a continental style breakfast, but you have to pay the full English rate. Watery baked beans, hash-browns cooked in stale oil and bullet-hard mushrooms don't make you feel any better about it. On our second day we avoided it completely and went to MacDonalds about 200 yards away which is better quality and half the price. There's also a cafe about 100 yards along the parade towards the town centre which might be a better bet.

Mrs Lazy also insists that the soppy frosted glass bathroom/Toilet door which doesn't lock and is open at the top & bottom is highly objectionable and substantially reduces privacy in the bathroom. Doesn't bother me so much, but why not have a proper door?

To sum-up
Don't go unless you like a really hard bed, and I mean hard not firm. There are other hotels in just as good a location.
Don't eat in the hotel. Use one of the many local cafes or restaurants- I can thoroughly recommend Natural Bourne Grillers which is a 10min walk up the hill.

Me and my wife used the hotel for business purposes in January 13. Room spacious, very clean and warm. Bed a little hard but we slept ok. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lifts to all floors. No car park, but you get a reduced rate of £8.40 per day which is cheap for Bournemouth. Resturant good especially if you do the meal deal.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with sea view and balcony.

I stayed here in january with my boyfriend, we'd asked for a balcony with a sea view; we didnt get the balcony but we did get the sea view! witch we didnt really mind seeing it was cold. All in all, its a lovely hotel, very modern and clean. Staff were lovely! However when we asked reception for any take away menu's he wouldnt supply any as they had a resturant, witch was only fair enough! .. The hotels location is really good, few minutes from the beach and shops. I'd deffo stay here again; and would really recommend it :)

Spent a friday and saturday night here whilst visiting friends in Bournemouth. A great location and if, like us you are lucky enough to have a room with a balcony then the views over the town and the sea are amazing.

We were slightly worried on arrival as we entered via the car park which was a bit grotty but need not have worried as the hotel itself is clean and stylish. Our room was large and comfortable, in fact the only issue was the bathroom door that has a large gap at the top and the bottom....even a married couple doesn't really want to be able to hear everything that is going on in the bathroom!

On the whole I would certainly recommend this hotel and definitely plan to stay again

Really pleased with our overnight stay here. Great location once again -Premier Inn are doing well with buying interesting buildings. Good size rooms and bathrooms, very clean. Parking around the back in multistory, discounts for guests with internal access to hotel. Breakfast overlooking sea front.
