Would recommend visiting on a Friday or Saturday to visit the market as is worth it. Bought a lovely homemade brownie that melted in my mouth.

Had everything from furniture to vintage clothes and cheese.

Totnes is a small city and it has a small market. You can find here old stuff and new, antiques, clothes, hats, fruit and more. Just off the main street of the old city.

On Fridays there is a good variety of goods like clothes, bric brac items vegetables, meat, fish, bread and cakes. Saturdays you will see more clothes and cooked food stalls. There’s a South Indian food stall and one that selling sing bowls quite a mix of stuff here. Makes wondering around very interesting.

Totnes on a Friday - market day! Always lovely local and artisan produce - cheese bread, cakes, meat and fish - alongside hemp products, new and vintage clothing, handmade and second-hand furniture, jewellery and bric-a-brac. Fridays in Totnes are always a good place to be!

I am not sure that this is the place to find a bric-a-brac bargain but appreciated the range of offerings which included rugs, vintage, second-hand clothing silver jewellery, hemp products, some artist supplies and an excellent skirt stall. Great coffee stand and what looked to be an ace Indian street food stall. Superb bread and some plants and veg. As with much of Totnes - great if you can afford it. Held on Fridays,
