“Excellent accommodation, comfortable and every needed requirement provided.”
Reviewed October 30, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We had a three night stay during the October half term holiday, along with two grandsons, 6 & 9 yrs. They like us throughly enjoyed our stay,
The apartment was spotlessly clean, all needs catered for and beautifully fitted and furnished to a high standard. Would definitely book again.

“Perfect base for our holiday”
Reviewed September 3, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Mariners cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped and a perfect fit for our family holiday. It's well placed to visit the beach and model village, both easily in walking distance and having the shops on our doorstep was ideal, although it was a bit noisy early in the morning if you enjoy a lie in. With loads of things to do just a short drive away meant we could return to the apartment for lunch and get back out for the afternoon. We had a great 5 days and would re-book Mariners Cottage if we were coming to Devon again.

“Good accommodation in the right place with car parking and wifi.”
Reviewed July 17, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We stayed close by last year but there was no car parking and we saw this place being done up and it had a car parking space. So we booked it for this year. St Marychurch is an excellent place to base a holiday in Torquay. The accommodation was roomy, clean, well equipped and is ideal for parents and two children as the second bedroom has bunk beds. it is self contained but the entrance integrates with a business premises so there is a lot of locking and unlocking doors, although this does mean you are very secure. There is a nice walled patio. There is an access door to get straight out onto the shopping precinct where there is every kind of shop you could need within 200 yards and a choice of cafes. Good WiFi is free and there is ample storage space. There is a good family bathroom, and a shower and wash basin en-suite to the main bedroom. If you have children with you you will probably be getting up at 7:00 in the morning but if you were hoping to have a lie in you could find the noise of early deliveries to the shops a bit of a wake up. Double glaze the main bedroom windows and the apartment would be perfection.

“Nice cottage in the perfect location”
Reviewed April 29, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

The Mariners Cottage is nicely located only a few minutes from the Oddicombe beach, cliff lift, Babbacombe model village and Bygones: a lot to see and enjoy with kids! The cottage is on Fore Str which is closed for cars and where you can find some wonderful cafes and local shops. We enjoyed this part of Torquay (Babbacombe) must more than the rest of the town! The cottage itself is very well taken care off, has a fully equipped kitchen, great bathroom and a perfect small garden with the BBQ set.
