Having been given a dinner, stay and breakfast package for my birthday, we arrived on the Sat to stay over. We pre booked a dinner slot and went down to the restaurant. The waiters didn't even have to ask which room we were staying in and we were asked to take a seat in the lounge area. It's a lovely cosy bar with relaxing music and magazines to read. Having looked over the cocktail menu, our waiter said he could make us anything not on the menu we fancied, so I ordered a piña colada. This was such a lovely gesture. We were shown the food menu and our order was taken at our seats so we could relax until our starters were ready and we were taken through to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is very atmospheric and cosy, but you do not feel as if the tables are too close together. The service was exceptional and food came quick despite being cooked from fresh. We had scallops to start and the fillet steak and duck for main, followed by the panacotta for dessert, all flawless. They also give you fresh bread while your waiting which makes a difference. We had a three course dinner package, and were impressed to find out that the extra chips we had along with coffee and 6 tiny desserts after dinner were also included! Breakfast the following morning was also amazing. They have a large fresh buffet with cereals fresh fruit pastries and juices, as well as the additional choice of hot cooked items with toast. All was very lovely and served in the conservatory area which has stunning views. All in all a perfect food and drink experience. Would highly recommend to all!
