Just returned from a mid week break at this lovely hotel. Syd & Jenny are the best hosts you could ask for. The cleanliness of this hotel is second to none absolutely FIRST CLASS. How "GARY" from Norwich can say what he has said in his report I do not know. He must be confusing it with another hotel he has been to. We will be going back again and know we will be treated exactly how we would like to be. Thanks again Jenny & Syd for yet another wonderful holiday. Keep up the good work.

Room Tip: Any of the rooms are perfect as they are spotlessly clean and the owners Jenny & Syd along with...

35 of us arrived on 2nd September to 5th September 2013. We had a briliant welcome by Jenny and Sid, also by Tina and the staff. Loved every minute of our stay, entertainment was excellent especially Champers, Harry and Nobby. Good choice of food and it was delicious and plenty of it.
We all hope to come back next year.
Thank You All So Much.

4 night stay - staff helpful and pleasant, rooms and public areas clean, bed comfortable. Food fine, lasagne really good. But meals let down by soups. Position good for walking to various coves and only short walk into either Babacombe or Torquay (or on a bus route). We'd go there again.

This was a very pleasant week spent with very caring working owners and whose staff all had the same good attitude. The whole hotel has just been refurbished and was spotlessly clean. The meals were all very good home style cooking with just the right number of dishes to choose from. We would not hesitate to return.

We have just returned from a 4 nite break ,rooms clean, beds comfortable ,food was just basic felt we were on a tight budget or back to school .staff were ok ,Sid the owner was very rude and misreble walked past us before breakfast, no good mornings from him .Jenny the owner was a little bit better but when asked for a toilet roll was told you could use the outside toilets (meaning ones in public areas) ,no apology from her for her staff not leaving toilet rolls in our room. This hotel is a bus ride to torquay and a long walk into babacoombe
