Stayed in Lincombe Hall Hotel in the one bedroom apartment for my Birthday, absolutely lovely!! I'ts the cleanest place I have ever stayed, rooms were spacious and very modern, the biggest bed I've ever seen. Help yourself to breakfast with tea/coffee, toast served, was very scrummie. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and defiantly will stay again..

Booked this as friends were gong to be staying there. Didn't know what to expect so we were delighted when our ideas of something like fawlty towers proved completely wrong. The staff were fantastic, so attentive and they dealt with every query we threw at them. The hotel room was lovely, nicely presented, clean, bathroom was lovely, shower wonderful. We've not stayed in many independently run hotels so were a bit dubious but this one will definitely be on our revisit list. A great location too, just a few mins walk to the harbour, shops and loads of restaurants.

Room Tip: We had room 17 I think it was one of the newly refitted ones so in great order.

Just had another fabulous four night stay at Lincombe Hall Hotel! Once again on arrival a warm welcome from Suzie on reception! We had room 41, nice king size bed and very comfortable! Lovely to see David, the hotel manager at dinner, the food once again was fabulous, all local ingredients, beautifully presented and good choices! It was also nice to see Emma, back from maternity leave, one of my favourite waitress's, although she was only on for one night! The coffee and mints in the lounge after dinner is a nice touch, followed by the evening entertainment! The indoor swimming pool has been refurbished, looks much nicer? If you want value for money this hotel is a must!

Room Tip: Rooms are main hotel,or annex! We have stayed in both and it's a very personal choice!

This Hotel just gets better and better. Over the past 3 years, Brett and Joanne Powis have refurbished to a very high standard, and seems they are continuing to do so. The Hotel looks and feels first class. Food is exceptional, varied menu which cannot fail to please. Staff are so friendly and professional, nothing is too much trouble. Jay and Susie on reception do a sterling job, as David, Chris and crew do so in the dining room and bar. Entertainment every evening is excellent with something for everyone. Lots of comfy seating so there's plenty of room....
Outdoor pool and Jacuzzi....really good, with plenty of tables and chairs on the surrounding lawns. Hotel In a good location, but on quite a steep road. However it is on a bus route.
i cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough, you certainly won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Gold rooms in the main building are superb. Standard rooms are in the "wing", but they too...

Stayed in a standard room which was modern, clean, comfortable and spacious. Could not fault anything. I stayed at the hotel for a wedding, the reception was being held at the hotel, and they did a great job. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Enjoyed the breakfasts which were included in the room rate. Hope to visit again someday soon!

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend with friends and didn't really know what to expect. Well we were very pleasantly surprised with everything. The rates were very good (£80 for the weekend with breakfast included) and our overall stay was great. The location is very good - just up from the town Centre and harbour, but note that the hotel is up a steep hill - something to bear in mind when walking back up to Lincombe Hall! The staff were lovely; very friendly and helpful. The lounge & bar area were both newly decorated and looked great. The bedrooms were well decorated and along with the bathroom were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was nice and overall it really was a lovely stay and we all agreed we would highly recommend anyone staying here in the future. Again the staff were a major plus point in our stay.

We have just returned from a week's stay in this delightful hotel. We stayed in a Gold room which overlooked the well tended gardens and Torbay in the distance. The hotel has obviously been given a facelift and it would appear that no expense has been spared. All staff were very friendly and helpful. There is an extensive menu every evening and the food is of the highest standard. Breakfast is also delicious. The owners can feel very proud of their team and not wishing to single out anyone we would particularly commend David (hotel manager), Chris (bar and restaurant manager), Russell who served our drinks and last but not least the very capable chef. Many thanks to all for a very pleasant week.
