We had a great weeks stay.June & Carl are really lovely, friendly & helpful people. The choice of breakfast was lovely with there being cereal, fresh fruit, yogurts & the full english which was cooked to order & enjoyed in a very nice dining room. The rooms were very comfortable & spotlessly clean. We will have no hesitation in staying there again when we are in Torquay or recomending Kingsholme to family, friends or aquaintances. Chick Sue & Dennis

Room Tip: All rooms are very comfortable & we did not hear any noise.

Had great few days stay and were made to feel very welcome, Would not hesitate to recommend to others. June and Carl were both very helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. We had lovely breakfasts freshly cooked to order (full English) with plenty of variety to choose from, cereal, fruit, etc., as well as freshly brewed tea and coffee. Hotel was spotless and the bedrooms immaculate with nice clean spacious bathrooms. Very good location, only five minutes walk from Marina.

I chose this hotel on the basis of the reviews on this website, I wasn't disappointed. My wife and I had a lovely welcome from June and Carl. The whole hotel was well presented. We had room 4 and it was immaculate. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. The kingsize bed was very very comfortable. It was obvious that they are putting a lot of effort into their business, yet they had time to talk to their guests. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The cooked breakfast was superb. Good quality food excellently cooked. It arrived at our table hot but not too hot to burn your mouth.
There is a small car park at the rear of the hotel, but only room for about 4 cars. There is also another car park, a short distance from the hotel, that is for the hotels in the area. You need tickets and a card for the barrier but there is no additional cost.
The location is perfect for the town center, only a few minutes down hill.
I can't recommend this hotel enough and I can't wait until we are down this way again as this hotel would be top of our list to visit.

A very welcoming Bed and Breakfast.
Carl and June are very attentive hosts: Nothing is too much trouble.
The beds are really comfortable and the bedding is fresh and cosy.
We had a lovely breakfast with lots to choose from.
It is only a short walk from the harbour : 5 minutes
We would definately recommend a stay at Kingsholm Hotel.

Carl and June certainly know how to make you feel welcome. The hotel was spotless, our room immaculate (room 4). The bathroom was new and spotless. Breakfast was cooked to order and the full English was superb. Can't better the location, less than a 5 min walk to the mariner. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable and relaxing stay.

Room Tip: the only thing I would say is if you don't sleep very well with slight road noise then choose a...
