Great place to curl up with a beer or a scotch.

There is a definite 'local' feel to this place that I find very endearing.

Located right on the side of the harbour, this Irish bar stands out head and shoulders above all the other local pubs, which all seemed to be run down and seen better days !
The welcome was friendly, the bar warm and comfortable and draught Guinness to die for - highly recommended !

Stayed in Torquay for an adults weekend in mid-December, every night we ended up in this pub - great atmosphere and lovely staff! Also had awesome entertainment in the form of tribute singers! Good drink selection - especially shots (of which we worked out we had over 54 in one night!) Can't wait to revisit this year.......please never change, there are far too few 'real pubs' left these days!

Went into this pub for a drink, prices very reasonable, friendly staff, popped in for a hour in the afternoon and decided we would go back in the evening for a quick drink... This did not happen ended staying all night. There was live music on which was amazing really enjoyed ourselves, knew nearly all the songs which was even better. We then went upstairs to the 80s night and had a fab night there to finish off the evening. Will definatley go back when in the area again.

Came here on a night out whilst away last weekend with my wife. The pub is very stereotypical Irish with traditional decor. Only had 1 drink in the bar then went to the 80's bar which is above the pub. The venue itself is basic just a room above the pub but the music was fantastic they even played some early nineties music too which my wife and I also enjoyed. Venue overall needs some tlc but music made up for it and we had a good night.
