Owner description: Cockington Country Park surrounds the picture postcard Cockington Village which lies just off the seafront near Torquay. The Country Park is free to walk around and features beautiful formal gardens, lakes and woodlands which can be enjoyed via a network of paths. Cockington Court and Cafe are nearby, along with a collection of craft studios where you can browse the creations of local artists and crafts people. The Cockington Country Park is cared for by local charity the Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust, who's volunteers operate a Visitor Centre in the village. Car parking is chargeable, although Trust members can park for free in the Trust's car park. Visit our website for more details.

A very pleasant time even though the weather was poor. Lovely walks art and craft shops including blacksmith and glass blowing. Good cafe at reasonable price. Very pleasant and relaxing day.

“a place worth visiting.”

went to visit shops, in particular the Our Glass making studio. Cafe area a pleasant area, good food act on offer. A place worth visiting.

“Picturesque”

Lovely village. Worth a visit, well maintained grounds, craft shops. Take a picnic or have afternoon tea at Rose Cottage.

Very picturesque little village. The tea gardens together with the thatched cottages are something that you don't see everyday.

“Cockington Country Park is just beautiful”

lovely place to visit for all ages, beautiful walks in lovely green areas we love this place.
watch glass blowing and visit the local shops. Go visit the stables and see the horses.
