Great park to walk the dog or for the kids to run wild. Get a picnic or spend an afternoon tea at several tea room available. Went to see the craft center but don't expect too much as only a small place. Toilet available at the carpark but unfortunately is not free.

Popped along to Cockington one afternoon just to fill in time and ended up staying all afternoon. Shame really as we could have spent a full day here (weather permitting). There's plenty of places to enjoy a picnic while the children play football or just explore the grounds. Walked up to the court where we enjoyed a nice ice cream and coffee. Not much change out of £25 though for a family of six. We then visited the glass blowers and little boutiques before having a good laugh on the play area. Even us grumpy parents enjoyed the wobbly bridge and the swings. Not sure if it was just us but the car park was tiny and having two cars meant we had to wait around for a while for a free space. There was a car park closer to the children's play are but didn't see any signs for that from the road. Also - my daughter cut her leg badly on the wooden walkway after the kissing gate. The staff at the info kiosk were wonderful with her but the walkway needs looking at. There are nails half hammered in and bent over along the edges (what she cut herself on when she tripped). Not safe at all

As it is out in the country not that many buses going after a certain but we thoroughly enjoyed wandering round the little studios and had a cream tea.

Beautiful place with lots to see. We had a lovely walk with the dog around the park, sat watching the cricket in the sunshine. Went in the dog friendly cafe which was fantastic and good prices. Watched the glass blowing demonstration, visited the craft shops, had a look in the church and gardens. Really brilliant day, especially in good weather. Ideal for a picnic. We were very impressed that there was no charge. Highly recommended!
