My partner and I visited last week on a beautiful sunny day. We walked around the lovely grounds, lakes, woodland, parkland. Takes a good couple of hours.
A lovely place to visit with children and dogs able to play in a lovely setting. Take a picnic with you. Is free to visit. There is a welcoming pub also to quench your thirst on a summers day.
There are craft shops - we couldn't resist buying some nice things - tea rooms too. Well worth a visit. Allow all day to do so. We think it should be better advertised as it is great.

This was a quaint little village but i was pretty didappointed at the size of it - there were only 4 small dwellings and a country house which wasn't that impressive. Yes it is quite pretty but after paying a small fortune to park (cheek) we were bored after half an hour. Not my cup of tea

I visited here yesterday since we were exploring the area. there is a large history within the park due to the thatched cottages, the large manor and the church in the middle of the park. It is also nice for children and dogs since they can run about and have fun. There are also plenty of places to walk.

I had not visited for 30 years but very much as I remember it and not run down. Spent a lovely afternoon here walking in the grounds and visiting the craft shops. We ate in the cafe but for the life of me I cannot remember what we had so it must have been neither very good or very bad, just average for a cafe. It would be a lovely place to take a picnic. We used the upper car park so not too much of a walk.
