“Interesting Gardens”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

I walked from Avenue Rd to the gardens and it was so beautiful and peaceful, the rose garden especially so, with the lovely little shops behind it. Lots to see and it has a Tea Shop near the gardens situated close to the village.

Cockington is well worth a visit. we walked from the Torquay sea front all along a board walk next to a stream. It was a lovely walk and the village is quaint and offers a few nice gift shops and tea rooms too

“Step back in time”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

This is a great place to go if you want to step back in time. Only a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Torquay and yet is tranquil and provides space for you to chill out. The village itself is quite small but there are small shops and places to eat where you can get traditional Devon cream teas. Don't forget to go to the Cockington Court which provides even more open spaces and an ideal place to chill out with the family.

“A wonderful Day out,”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

Well who would have thought, within a very short distance from both the Town centre and the seaside, is this wonderful countryside park...lakes filled with fish, horse drawn carriage rides, quaint old cottages, cream teas, arts & crafts centre, so much to do and see, also a cricket pitch, often a match in progress, and what a wonderful setting to watch a match, whether you know the game or not, stunning gardens, an organic garden, and if you are there at the right time you can actually buy the produce...A Wonderful day out, for he whole family...and you don't have to PAY to go.
