Nice way to spend a sunny spring day, feeding the ducks, watching all the wildlife. Staring at hundreds of Bluebells!

“Spend a full day here if sunny!”
Reviewed June 11, 2012 via mobile

Picture postcard houses, huge park/gardens and tea rooms. Very little parking but you can walk up the boardwalk from Torquay sea front. We walked down the hill from the country park carpark on site (a left turn from the village centre). The so called wheelchair access was signposted up past the tea room, through a courtyard, over rough ground, up hill and a huge step at the top on a steep slope to get to the Inn for food! From the Inn, after a good meal take the road to the craft places, through rose sunken garden and continue on flat paths to explore the park and galleries. We found a flat route back to carpark (which is misleading as the signposts from the carpark show a step route only).

A proper access map for wheelchair users is needed. Accessible toilets in the pub or the gallery building (which were very cold and not brilliant).
