Went for an evening drink to celebrate my daughter's birthday,
Crowded bar - Only four inexperienced staff, waited a long time only to have the barman offer to serve the people BEHIND us!
Eventually got drinks and went out into spacious garden, found a seat with room for the rest of our party.
Some while later, only on our second drinks, a glass was put down on the table and the glass top exploded spraying glass shards that cut one of our party's leg and getting inside my wife's shoes, cutting the sole of her foot. The manager was called but only security staff arrived and accused us of breaking the table top.
We explained that the glass had been put down normally but the very surly security person didn't believe us and accused us of being drunk and smashing the glass down hard.
Surely a glass table top should be strong enough that a glass would break before the glass top would shatter? As I said the glass was placed normally not bashed down but there was no way we weren't guilty.
