Went to the ERC for a deep and dine. Swimming pool and flume are ok and waves come on for 5 mins every 1/2 hour. Not really a place for a serious swimmer.
Dining and food in the Bay Brasserie however were both very good and would recommend.

I visited the Riviera Centre Torquay for the first time on Saturday 16 February for a dinner for 100 people. The venue was first class, well appointed and laid out perfectly.

The food and service was excellent and I and my party were very impressed throughout.

Preparing food for 100 people is not easy but it was cooked perfectly, served very professionally and a superb evening.

Thankyou Alison to you and all your team.

We have just been to a Christmas party with various different company's my only complaint is the food or the lack of it!!! The starter was ok but the smoked salmon was tough to cut. main was 1 big plate 2 pieces of Turkey 3 very small roast potatoe's a carrot mash the size of a walnut whip with 3 peas on it 1 small chipolata a thin slice of stuffing mind you it didnt taste like it and the pudding a chocolate triangle about 5mm thick with a bit of sauce drizzled on it... so for £27.50 each i think we have been robbed blind so my advice is stay away as we will never use it again!!!

Fun in the waves but, and it is a huge but, it was far too cold in the pool. Baby and toddler both shivering. It is pretty old and dated but the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Wouldn't go back.
The baby pools were also too cold.
Really didn't want to put our shoulders under the water.
