“Living Coast Cafe”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

Didn't visit the shop but the cafe was very overpriced and the staff were downright rude. Wouldn't come here again!

I apologise if you found any of our staff rude on your visit. Customer service is extremely important to us and we ensure that all our staff receive regular training in this. I have passed these comments on to our catering manager who will be addressing this issue. With regards to our prices we offer a range of products to cater for all budgets and are priced in line with other attractions.

“Very small”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2012

Only takes around 10 minutes to walk around, and its expensive for the contents. The cafe was nice though, had good food and a good view. And walking through the penguin enclosure was fun. But not worth the money I dont think. On the bright side if you really love it, your ticket on the day gets you in for 7 days after that for free!

Thank you for your kind comments about the penguins and cafe following your recent visit. I am surprised you think the site only takes 10 minutes to walk around as our average length of stay is between 1.5 and 2 hours with feeding talks taking place at 30 minute intervals throughout the day. Our admission prices are set in line with other similar sized attractions and we regularly receive positive comments on our own surveys, trip advisor and through mystery shopper reports.

“Penquin zoo for little ones”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

Enjoyed our afternoon here, maybe a touch expensive as it do not take too long to walk around. Kids will love being so close to the penguins. Could do with more description on the animals and where they are from on each enclosure, but overall we enjoyed our afternoon out in Torquay. We didn't use the cafe as there is a Harvestor pub restaurant just outside.
