This is a very nice area to have a stroll around and with a few pubs and restaurants its good to waste some time here. Good for crabbing with kids at high tide.

So much to see and look at it, very peaceful and restful, lovely area. I love the harbour and my husband even ended up having a go at the crabbing, smashing!
Lovely little harbour, very busy. Many boat trips available. Nice restaurants, coffee shops & sea life museum.
Take a nice walk round on an evening and watch the lights twinkling around the bay or try the morning for a coffee . Great way to start your break .
Spent a couple of hours here just taking in the view and it's a great mix of new and old. A new, space age bridge doubles as a tide barrier keeping water in the inner basin and, as we crossed it, there's a couple of older fishing boats below with the owners gutting and cleaning their catch. Lovely views and and some good shops along the adjacent Victoria Parade. Worth an hour or two for a wander if the weather's good.
