Had a great stay at this lovely guest house. Marion and les were fantastic hosts nothing was to much trouble to them. Room was clean and tidy bed was very comfy we stayed for 4 nights and did not have any noise and it was very peaceful just what we were looking for. Breakfast was amazing everything you could wish for, homemade breads and jams different bread every day coundnt ask for more.Just a 20-30 min walk into town along the sea front. Found a lovely cream tea place in babbacombe which marion told us about its a must never had cream teas like its called angels.Great stay thanks marion and les will be coming again im sure.

My family's second holiday at this wonderful place and we enjoyed it as much as the first time if not more because the weather was even better this year. Marion and Les are the perfect hosts as ever. Hotel is as comfortable and clean as normal and the breakfasts are just amazing, i kept wishing i could have them for an evening meal as well? though my waistline would disagree!!! Beautifully located far enough from Torquay centre to be quiet but close enough for a lovely coastal stroll down. We visited Paignton and saw the baby orangutan at the zoo, went to Babbacombe model village and got burnt on oddicombe beach, enjoyed tea and scones in the beautiful Cockington village and had a lovely ferry trip to Brixham (fortunately for the couple sitting opposite me it was a calm day!!!!) Cannot recommend this place highly enough, thank you Marion and Les see you again soon and lily says hi to Toffee and Phoebe x

A most enjoyable short break in this excellent B&B. Can't speak too highly of the welcome and hospitality Marion & Les provide - it's all been said in previous reviews. Riviera room is luxurious twin/double with large en suite bathroom, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, plus lots of luxury extras including a small fridge! Breakfast room has a bright, Mediterranean feel and Les' scrumptious breakfasts with home made bread, jams & marmalades set you up for the day. Marion is a mine of information on places to eat, visit and travel and is always ready to help. Quiet location with pretty garden, swimming pool and off road parking. Close to harbour/sea front and picturesque Cockington village. What else could anyone want!

Room Tip: Riviera room is spacious and luxurious with large en suite bathroom and views over garden, swimming pool and sea.

Really enjoyed a 3 day break at the Charterhouse Hotel. Marion and Les are the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was superb with homemade bread and jams. The room was spacious with a superking sized bed and the bathroom immaculately clean with every modern convenience. Location is great with easy access to both the lovely village of Cockington and to the sea front. Would certainly recommend this hotel and hope to return.

Marion and Les made us very welcome and gave lots of advice on where to visit and eat at 3 superb restaurants. The room was large and spotless and very comfortable. Les cooks a great breakfast with home made bread, jam and marmalades a special feature. The location is perfect in a quite road but only a short walk from town. Plenty of parking space and a lovely garden if you just want to sit and relax. I can't wait to return.
