On a Weekend away in Torquay we called into the tea rooms for some lunch. We ordered chicken salad sandwiches which were not on the menu but the waiter was happy to adapt. We also had a pot of tea and cake. Sitting in the window, we enjoyed our lunch feeling unrushed and valued. Would definitely recommend a visit and would definitely return. Thank you Burridges.

Popped in here for a cream tea, having been undecided between this one and Lulu's a couple of doors down. Although I can't comment on tea at the latter, having subsequently had lunch at Lulu's (see review) I can only say that we have absolutely no doubt we made the right choice.

Lovely fresh scones, lashings of toppings, nice hot tea and a really nice ambience, so happy to recommend it unreservedly for a tea by the harbour in Torquay.

Noticed this little gem whilst taking a stroll round the harbour a few days prior to our visit. First thing is it looks very tidy and caught the eye, with fresh carnations in vases on the tables. We all opted for the Devon cream tea in a mixture of plain and warm scones. The scones are served warm with just the right amount of jam and cream, and the loose leaf tea hit the spot nicely. Another plus for us was they aloud us to bring our dog Charlie in with us as the seating outside was already full due to the unusually warm sunny October day. Will certainly be returning again to sample some more of the menu. Well done all cracking little tea room.

We found this little restaurant whilst looking for a coffee house, and ended up having a beautiful cream tea, they did two sizes which we liked the choice, we chose the mini one which was superb, also had delicious cakes. Price very reasonable. Two mini cream teas £9.00 including hot drinks, and a view over the harbour.
