“A good base”
Reviewed August 19, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

The apartment was a good base for a holiday in Torquay. A perfect distance from the beach and local transport.

The shower is powerful which is a blessing after a day at the beach, although a blind at the window would be useful...as when people walk passed it can cause surprise (even with frosted glass).

The kitchen is adequate although we did struggle at times if we required the grill and the oven for a meal.

We all found the beds to be very comfortable and warm. Unfortunately noise from other apartments close by did disturb sleep on a number of occasions during our stay.

Parking is by permit, and limited.
We would advise any future customers to place the parking permits in the car during the evening, although we didn't receive a parking ticket...we witnessed cars receiving them during our stay...the traffic wardens do patrol the area vigorously!

We would recommend the boat trip to Brixham, Splash Down Water park and Hanbury's fish and chip shop to anyone staying at the accommodation.

Thanks for the feedback, I will arrange for a blind to be fitted in the bathroom, and the noise from the neighbours is sorted as they have now left the property, apologies for that, we have never had any problems before. The oven and grill are all brand new so should be sufficient, and yes parking permits need to be displayed at all times.

We always ensure we have enough parking permits, but often some people either use two cars or spoil a permit. Parking is fine around the back where there is level access which is ideal for toddlers and prams.

A short walk from the town, comfortable and plenty of room for the two of us. Most of what we needed in the kitchen.

“Central Location for Torquay”
Reviewed April 24, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Situated in a perfect location, minutes away from Torquay harbour
The apartment itself was made to feel like home from home, which is a credit to the owners which are fantastic to communicate with prior to our arrival
The apartment size was great, all the rooms were a good size and could easily fit a family of 5 in easily
Great value for money to stay here within the quiet location of Torquay
Found parking easy on arrival, car parked in the space for the whole weekend as the location is perfect to walk to all the local attractions and surrounding areas and it was so good to have the parking permits supplied for the whole stay for us
I would recommend anyone who is looking for a nice relaxing holiday in a central location to the harbour this would be the place to stay
Would definitely stay again in the future

“Perfect location. Torquay harbour only minutes away.”

This is our second time staying at 20 Trinity mews. Anthony has made sure it has everything you would need for a family of 5. Large tv on the wall with plenty of DVDs to watch also games if you have bad weather. Large fridge freezer, washing machine etc.Torquay harbour is only minutes away we spent some hours with the granddaughter crabbing which appears popular with the kids and adults! Local buses were very reasonable with an adlut ticket costing £4 and a childs cost £1. We loved Paington zoo, The kids will love Kents caverns (caves) book online its saves you money. We also had a nice day out at the miniture village, its a little steep if you have any health problems. Cockington village is worth a visit its only approx 10 mins on the bus from Torquay harbour it has narrow lanes, lined with thatched houses with their colour washed walls of stone, stop had have a cream tea in one of the little quaint tearooms or watch cricket on the village green. My only complaint would be the seating in the living room area The leather look corner unit in the living room was very uncomfortable sagging in parts and low on the floor which made it hard for my mother to get herself out from.

New sofas have now been delivered. Thanks for your feedback and will benefit other people. I recommend getting a Passport from the Tourist Information Office by Torquay Harbour, has hundreds of discounts for various attractions and restaurants.

“Mini family break”
Reviewed March 22, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

I am really pleased I booked this lovely place to stay for our trip to Torquay to see the family. It was perfect for use a lot better than stopping in a hotel to. The owners are very good with contact to. I will definitely use this place again. It's all you need and close to town.

Thank you for our feedback. Using a holiday let has many advantages over a hotel as it's a home from home. We welcome you to stay with us again in the future. Kind regards Tony
