We must have walked past this restaurant many times without even knowing of its existence as it's not ground floor and it's entrance is at the rear! However, once discovered we decided to give it a try and with 9 in our party AND had made no reservation we were pleasantly surprised we were accommodated on a Saturday night, this restaurant is deceptively large! The menu is excellent, even with children in the party; the fish and chips come HIGHLY recommended and the owner Nick is most welcoming, as mentioned in other reviews his crepe suzette is worth experiencing at least once in a lifetime! In all, great food, reasonably priced, excellent service and great location (once you've found it), will return next year for sure.

Having just moved in to the area we fancied an evening meal consisting of some sort of seafood. We plumped for the Marina and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by the owner/manager who was very friendly and professional as were the other staff. The food ordered was cod and chips and the Moules Mariniere . The cod was pure white and in a lovely light crispy batter, the Moules mariniere whilst not as large as their Gallic cousins were delicious nonetheless, the hand cut chips were a delight and all the food was piping hot. Limited dessert menu but the white chocolate pannacotta with blueberry compote and the lemon and cream cheese tart were absolutely delicious. The position of the restaurant overlooking the marina was also a bonus.

We will be returning for another visit in the future

We visited the restaurant as a treat, our table had great views over the harbour looking at the boats and yachts, the harbour lights were twinkling away. The service was very good polite and quick, we ate from the main menu and the food was great. If Nick is in the house I would recommend crepe Suzette and the food history lesson, very entertaining.

The position of the restaurant allows wonderful views across the harbour. We had Sunday lunch here which was our first visit. The food was only average and the menu offers very limited choice for vegetarians. No decaf coffee. Ladies loos - only one cubicle for a fair sized restaurant hardly seems enough. On the plus side the staff were friendly and helpful but it just needs to up its act to make if somewhere you'd want to recommend.
