The Imperial was a classic hotel in it's hey day. It's still well worth a stay with fabulous views across Torbay and its special offers represent good value. Very good location for Torquay harbour and town centre. Stayed twice now and would revisit. Only downside is charging residents to park their cars in the hotel car park.
Torquay itself is lacking in investment by the Council and business owners. The once pristine sea front gardens look poor and local traffic congestion is very bad at peak times.
