Me and my partner has just got back from stopping at the sea point hotel it was our second time here we love stopping here when we go to Torquay as its clean serves a good breakfast which is cooked in a arrga !!
Clean towels to use each day,tea and coffee facilities in your room a nice little bar there and about a 10 min stroll down the hill to the town centre also round the corner from the hotel there is bowling and restaurants .
But what really makes the sea point hotel special is Dave and Kim they are lovely people and make you feel welcome with there kind hospitality see you next year :)

Hi, just seen this review & clearly remember when you rang the bell you had a poodle with you-not a guide dog, please remember to tell the truth

Stayed at the sea point for 3 nights at the beginning of August. Very friendly couple who work really hard to make you feel welcome. Stayed in a family room with en suite which was. Clean, bedding clean which is always a bonus. Apart from the bed being a little uncomfortable, the room and facilities were fine. No bed is like your own, I'm sure you all agree! We had tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary biscuits and there was also a mini fridge which was handy as we had nice weather.Breakfast was nice. The location was. Close to town, about a 7 minute walk downhill but the walk back up was a bit of an effort especially after a large evening meal.lol.All things considered though, a nice place to stay! By the way, please ignore ratings for swimming pool and fitness centre as these aren't available and unable to delete. :-))

Stayed at sea point hotel for 2 nights over the band holiday. The price was very reasonable and clean. And they had there own carpark out side the hotel. The breakfast was very nice and i loved the mushrooms :). It was 10 mins walk away from town center. Dave and Kim was great hosts. They made you feel more than welcome. Left there feeling like I had made two friends. There was a small bar down stairs with more than reasonable prices. All round it was a very pleasant stay and hoping to return there later in the year. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a family suite, so children in a separate room. The room was light and airy, and while it is an oldish building it was very comfortable. wifi would have made things easier but not the end of the world. Owners very accommodating and very friendly. It was quiet at night and we would go back. Breakfast was very good also. I was slightly taken aback to be asked to pay upfront, but actually it's not all that different from the large chains who take an imprint of your card on arrival?
