Great rooms, quite a trek to ours but not really a problem as we are young & fit, presuming the less able get better rooms. Great access to the beach, close to centre of Torquay. Resultant attached is very nice.

Couldnt get a better location - on the seafront, near the Marina and near to bus stops, train station etc. Rooms usual good standard, with nice big family room and 2 side view windows looking on the promenade. Great Beefeater though very busy so booking was essential. Free car parking for entire stay was an added bonus though it could be better managed; people just parked anywhere and everywhere and with already close tight spots. I had my car doors marked 3 times during our 4 day stay (reported to Reception) But would definitely return as it was such a good overall stay :)

Stayed here thankfully for one night only for work.

Good location if you are here for pleasure on the sea front.

Reception staff very helpful.

Toilet in the public area was disgusting and clearly needed a clean.

Room was very basic and very small with a window that didnt open.

The bathroom was also very small.

Thin pillows.

Didnt bother with the breakfast.

£99 per room I thought was well over priced.

Returned this year after a rather bad experience last year. We arrived on September 5th and stayed two nights. What a change, the room was spotless, clean as I would expect to find in a Premier Inn.
This time we stayed in room 227 and I was great, I hope we can stay there next year, which we have already booked. Katie in reception was brilliant very helpful and welcoming. A credit to Premier Inn.
The Beefeater Restaurant was very good. Yes it is a bit pricey but the food is excellent. There are cheaper menus if you arrive before 6pm or there is another available Monday to Thursday after 6:30pm. Our waitress was Lizzie on a both nights and she was extremely efficient. Well done Premier Inn, we will definitely return next year.
Opposite in the park there is a very good crazy golf.

Room Tip: The rooms to the front of the hotel are well worth the view as the hotel is on the promenade.

Just back from our 3rd holiday at this hotel, and still in love with the place! I would actually go so far as to say it's the best holiday I've ever had! The first time we went, last September, we asked for a seaview, which we got. The room was so nice that we've requested it the 2 times we've been this year, and have been lucky enough to get it both times. The room is huge and comfortable, and the views are amazing. We didn't really come into contact with many staff, but those we did were pleasant enough. We didn't eat at the restaurant, as there are so many other places we wanted to try, places we couldn't go to at home, whereas Beefeater is a chain. We did have a drink in the very pleasant hotel garden, overlooking the sea. Carparking was worse than usual, we arrived at about 1pm on a Sunday, and got the last empty spot, so we didn't move the car all week, using our feet or boats to get around instead! We heard very little noise from inside the hotel, just a door closing occasionally, or someone walking around above us, but nothing disturbing. There is building work going on next door, on a new complex, and that did start very early and carry on quite late, but closing the windows shut that noise out. It was hot and sunny throughout our stay, so we just left the windows open and the aircon on all day while we were out, so it wasn't a problem having the windows closed while we were in, as the room had cooled. We returned every day to find clean towels and the room serviced. The only slight negatives, were that the walls and windows could have done with a clean, and that they only left 2 teas, coffees, milks and sugars each day, and it was a 5 minute walk to reception to request more. Will be back next year for sure, hopefully 3 times!

clean, friendly, great location. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and modern. Some of the bathrooms could do with the taps resealing due to damp staining but clean and efficient working bathroom.
Bed was hard but got used to this. Food good but a little costly for a family. Not enough hanging space or drawer space for clothes for a family of three. All clothes on view due to wardrobe system. Excellent lighting and security system. Very good stay and would reccommend to anyone. Have had to nit pick to find negatives and will def stay again myself.

We booked this hotel after my parents stayed here in the summer and highly recommended it. The views and location is breathtaking and our room 229 was the best view you could have. Looking right out to sea. Brilliant staff, ann at reception was polite and very helpful. And claire our wonderful waitress in the beefeater on the friday night was brilliant. Loved our stay, hotel was spotless and room was big too. Will defo be back again soon =)
