“Nice, but not proper Italian...”

I love Italian and if you want best and most authentic in south west travel to Plymouth- Positanos.... But this is good for Torquay. Bruschetta not crunchy enough and sauce on arabiata tasted like it was out of a jar .. But nice atmosphere and decor. But like up Market pizza express ..

“Good Italian”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

Booked last minute for an early Sat eve. meal with Family (3kids) on our recent visit to Torquay. Very pleasant waitress, patient and attentive service, very nice food and even a wine cooler for the wine. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Would recommend

“Great Italian food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

We were staying just along the road from Amici. It looked good & after reading other reviews decided to book. Good job as this Sunday evening it was packed. Dough sticks great, crab bruschetta was divine as recommended by another reviewer. Thx for the tip off! Pizzas light & fresh, linguine pasta & cannelloni equally fab but goodness the pasta portions are generous. Teenagers managed pudding which I had a spoon of & I wasn't disappointed. Atmosphere bustling but not noisy, decor nice & ladies toilets very clean & modern ( though a larger lass will find it a squeeze getting between the open cubicle door & the loo!) would certainly recommend this without hesitation.

“"Amici per sempre"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

During our one night in Plymouth we wanted somewhere nice to eat. We walked pased Amici and decided to go in. They managed to squeeze us in as we had not booked. The staff were quick and friendly and the food was excellent. Good size portions and great taste.
Try the garlic bread! Yum!
