“Crafts and Arts”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2013

Went for afternoon Tea Two very large plain scones strawberry jam , clotted cream and pot of tea for £ 4.00 sounds good value but scones need fruit and tasted very bicarbonate soda so rather have one good scone then two bad ones. Hubby had chocolate cake which he said was just on the turn going stale this was just after 3 pm. wouldn't go for tea again but lots to see shops while just a bit late in the day to see all the arts and crafts

“Lots to see here for a relaxed family day out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

There is plenty of room for the kids to play out on the front lawn as well as a proper playground with swings etc. Adults can enjoy the quiet rose gardens and there are lots of different craft shops to browse around and some such as the glassblower and blacksmith give demonstrations. There is also a great chocolate shop.

There a a decent cafe here as well although it is a little expensive.

You can take a horse and carriage ride into Cockington village and enjoy the facilities there as well (10 mins walk away)

“Very good attraction”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

Loved the crafts shops, worth a trip to browse and watch the various craftsmen at work. The glass blowing was fascinating to watch. Great place to buy a unique keepsake or gift.
