Set in nice gardent Cockington court has a gift shop & cafe. There are seperate shops in the grounds including a great chocolate shop.
The grounds include a very odd cricket pitch & Cockington has a good pub.
Well worth a visit.

Some lovely art galleries and unusual little gift shops, set in pretty gardens. I went on New Year's day so unfortunately some shops were not open. I would have loved to go in and have a look around as there were some lovely items on display. Stables with horse and carriage rides available, and a lovely cafe in the old house. It is definitely worth a little visit.

We've just come back from Cockington Court following a visit to the "Winter Wonderland Grotto" with our 5year old Grandson. Absolute magic! Met by Santa's elves and their 'we believe' jars of magic sparkle, a story, Jingle Bells singing, and then taken in to see the great man himself in the old kitchen of the house. Father Christmas was superb with the children, and of course gave each one a gift. All this for a £1 - best value for miles, and in a superb setting.

A fascinating place to wander around. It's a history lesson just being there and is fantastic to step back in time a bit. Really interesting and worth a visit regardless of the weather or time of year.
