Conveniently situated near to rail station and bus routes enabling us to travel all over south Devon. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was to much trouble. Our twin room overlooked a park and was quiet, well decorated and comfortable. Everywhere was very clean. The breakfasts were superb. We recommend it as very good value in every respect and will no doubt look forward to a return visit.

On our third visit to Torquay in under a month, we finally found what we were looking for. A great B&B that punches above its weight in all aspects.
Sue & Stuart were the perfect hosts, there if you needed them and always willing to spend a moment or two with their guests.
The twin room we stayed in is located at the front with a great view of the coast and gardens,
beds very comfy, en-suite fine and all very clean.
Breakfast was 1st class. All the usual favourites cooked fresh and good tasty coffee.
We return for Easter and cannot wait.

Room Tip: Front of house for great view

Just a really good comfortable weekend away in a friendly B&B! We came by train and liked that we could walk anywhere in Torquay from here. 10 out of 10 for breakfast.

A group of 8 of us stayed for 2 nights over the New Year. We had all stayed with Sue & Stuart before and they have made some further improvements in the year and a half since they took over. As usual the welcome, service and breakfast were superb. We all had a great New Years day meal at 'The Drum' in Cockington Village followed by a healthy walk back to the Gainsboro up & over the hill. This was followed by a lovely walk along the seafront to walk off breakfast the next morning before driving home.
If you are planning a break in Torquay you will not be disappointed if you stay here. We will certainly be back.
