This pub/restaurant is the oldest in Torquay circa 1500, its tucked away up some steps behind other buildings but definitely worth finding. Immediately i walked into this pub, i sensed a good atmosphere. Low beams, so mind your head when walking through the bar. The food was very good and plenty of it, no complaints. Even the 'starters' were s decent size but i'm not complaining. None of our party of six had a dessert - all too full. A good selection of local real ales and my evening was complete. Would happily recommend this excellent pub, it won't disappoint!!
