Was disappointed by how run down and old fashioned the guest house - it would benefit from some decorating and refurbishment. We stayed in a small basement room that felt claustrophobic. It was clean with good quality cotton bedding. Room is not cleaned every day and fresh towels were not provided on second day. Though bed creaked a lot.

The breakfast is good - and friendly service. Good location, 5-10 walk to the sea front.

Very limited parking. Hotel spaces were taken during all of our stay and difficult to find spaces on road.

Stayed for 2 nights in a family room. Was a good size room with a double bed and 2 single beds. Few fans scattered around was nice with the heat. Plus a little fridge was good. The host Tony was very welcoming and as we arrived very early due to staying first few days in nearby caravan park he welcomed us to leave our bags if needed and gave us our keys so we could carry on with our day. Breakfast was very nice with toast cereals and preserves as well as full English.

We stayed for a family celebration for 2 nights, 11 of us booking 4 of 7 rooms. We were greeted by the welcoming and comical host Tony, for whom nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and facilities included a kettle and selection of hot drinks, use of a small fridge and, importantly during this hot summer, fans. The beds were comfortable and we slept well despite being at the front of the building. Breakfast was delicious and very efficient. The b and b is in a great location just 5-10 minute walk to the sea front and into town. There are pubs and plenty of places to get food just outside the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.
