Welcome was fine but don't ask for anything as the response was quite cold and negative. Also the WiFi was very poor signal level and they even swithced it off late evening ! I also found that my bags had been 'investigated' by I can assume the cleaning staff.

Overall a VERY poor establishment and not an experience I would wish to repeat.

We stayed here for long weekend at the end of July. Perfect location next to Hoe Park and near The Citadel, 5 minutes from the city center and the Barbican. Loads of restaurants nearby so loads of cuisine options for eating out. We found our room inviting, clean and comfortable; just perfect for our needs. Staff were great, wonderful breakfast and we're looking forward to staying again in the future. Highly recommended.

When we arrived at the Casa Mia Guest House, the landlady was welcoming and the rooms were clean and a nice size. The location was brilliant being close to the Hoe and the breakfast was also very nice with good service. However, we did not appriciate being charged a £20 cleaning bill as we left. This was for no other reason than whilst we were staying there, our room was not as it was when we arrived. The staff clean the roooms every morning and due to a few clothes and personal belongings left on the floor and dressing table, we were charged an extra £20 on top of our bill. The idea of staying somewhere like this is that the room you are in is your little home for the time you are staying. We could understand if there had been food left lying around on the floor etc but these were just clothes, make up etc. And surely the expense of cleaning is within the price we paid to stay there. When we left to come home, the room was left as we found it so there was no need for this charge and i would advise you to not stay there unless you are willing to keep your room immaculate the whole of you stay.

This guest is mistaken about the reason for the extra cleaning charge, which was towards the cost of the specialist cleaning required to remove the pink hair dye from linen, towels, furnishing and carpet. Fortunately it is very rare for us to levy this charge as per our terms and conditions and is only done in extreme cases where there is significant damage done.

Extremely pleasant stay, owners and staff were super-helpful and friendly all around-- even made my husband a bacon sandwich to take away with him when he was too rushed for the breakfast! Size, decor, and privacy of room felt more like staying at a good hotel the the shabby B&Bs I'm used to, and spotlessly clean. Location is perfect for the parks and boats, a short picturesque stroll to the Barbican. Highly recommended.

I have returned a few days ago from Plymouth where I work from time to time. I stayed in the lovely Casa Mia B&B which lies close to the city centre, the Barbican (bars, restaurants and yacht harbour) and the coach terminal, and 15 min walk to either the continental ferry terminal or the train station. I have immediately made reservation for my next visit in summer because Casa Mia is the perfect accommodation, with its very nice owner (who even speaks Welch) and employee, clean and quiet rooms, wifi, and last but not least an excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this place.
