Came to celebrate a birthday and were truely delighted. Greeted warmly by friendly staff we were looked after us all evening. Ruth and Jess were on hand when ever we needed them yet were never intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious from the little amuse bouche soup, flavour packed baked mushroom starter, succulent tasty main courses, each cooked to order and arriving exactly as requested, and followed by a light cherry and almond tart - all wow. The chef came over at the end of the evening and had a chat. By the time we left we felt we had had a really special evening.

Took two people here to thank them for having our dog for a week or so. Fabulous location in Tudor block house overlooking the boiling sea. Very small and very laid-back and friendly. Food very good but rich. Clams and crab to start..excellent duck sole lamb and gnocchi for mains...sole and lamb very special dessert, two bottles of wine odds and ends...about £186 for four...well worth it a real addition to Plymouth. Certainly up to London standards. Excellent limited menu to suit all tastes. Good veg! So small must reserve

We haven't been to the Artillery Tower for a couple of years - went last night for our anniversary and it was a good decision. The food was lovely - the little soup amuse bouchée was beautiful - the setting is lovely - and we paid no more than some "bistro pubs"!!!! The chef came out to have a chat, the staff were lovely - we weren't rushed so were very relaxed (much appreciated by us at the moment!). We will most definitely be going back!!!!

My first trip to this lovely intimate restaurant but won't be my last. Gorgeous inside, with exposed stone walls, log burner and wonderful views out over the sea. Delicious food, lovely little cup of soup and bread as appetizer followed by duck and creme brulee. All lovely. Excellent and friendly service. The menu only has a few dishes on it but the very accomodating chef was happy to cook a more simple dish (not on the menu) for my teenager daughter. Looking forward to going again when we are next in Plymouth.
