Everything we insist on (and we are picky); a spotless, call it a small 'villa' or chalet, fully contained v.clean & up to date furnishings i.e. kitchen, power shower & furniture, South facing big windows to ocean front (can't get much closer) with patio, 2 weeks stay, coastal path out the front door, 2 pubs with v.good meals and ale in walking distance(25 mins) in neighbouring villages, sun as we wished. Walked almost from Mount Batten to Salcombe over 2 wks. 2 days of sea mist but good National Trust properties to see inland. No washing machine if your there for 2 wks however, launderette 10 mins away and efficient - but hey - on holiday so adapt! Totally chilled and thanks to Terry, a v.helpful owner.
A very warm, comfortable and well equipped chalet with wonderful sea views. Very relaxing, with the beach virtually on the doorstep. Fantastic views of the ships, including the naval vessels. Thank you to Terry for being so helpful and for providing such high quality accommodation.
The view from the chalet was fabulous. We enjoyed the view from the large lounge window, watching the activity on the sea including wind surfers, sailing boats and naval ships. We were also close enough to Plymouth to be able to enjoy everything it has to offer. The chalet itself is comfortable and stylish. We would definitely like to re-book in the future.
I can't praise this chalet highly enough...perfect in every way. Decorated and furnished to such a high standard. Me and my partner stayed for 5 nights for complete relaxation and to unwind and it didn't disappoint. The complete 180 degree view of the sea is stunning, just priceless. Watching the sun set and rise over the sea is just so special. The owners are so friendly and helpful and can't do enough.
Stunning! Thank you and we will be back very soon. Louisa & Loren
Superb location with views across Plymouth Sound with the constant passing of various military/pleasure/commercial shipping. Chalet superbly furnished with modern/comfortable furniture with adequate heating/cooling to cope with any weather. Lovely local walks and Plymouth Barbican only four minutes away by ferry. Stunning beaches on the doorstep together with a lovely beach café. Could not wish for more from a holiday
